Greetings Friends in Christ! The Last Quarter of 2010 is fast approaching. Once again, a time to roll up our Stewardship Sleeves, put on our thinking caps and begin planning our 2011 budget and identify our leaders for next  year. These items along with others are presented annually and voted upon at our Church Conference Meeting - where we also have the opportunity to celebrate the work and accomplishments of our Church. A very exciting time for the Church.
 
A lot has changed since we held our first Church Conference in 1909. When this church was born, there were no computers, cell phones, shopping malls or even televisions. It is a new day - even God proclaimed this in Isaiah 43:19, "Behold, I am doing a new thing. Do you not know it?" Yes, Warren, it is a new day.
 
But our God changes not, so let us also continue to change not, by being the same people of un-shakable and tireless faith as we plan, program and prepare for God's New Things in 2010 and 2011. In Matthew 28:19, Christ commissioned us to "Go and make Disciples." On October 7th, We have collaborated together to send a team of 6 Disciples from both Warren and Grace to attend the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection (COR) 11th Annual Leadership Institute, to learn what we can from this mega church that went from 4 members to 15,000 Disciples in 15 years, and bring back home to you this powerful and inspiring information - so that Warren and Grace will move in a forward and progressive direction.
 
For the Church to be successful in this challenging 'New Day' we must give 100% of who we are, and incorporate as many resources as we possibly can to get us where we need to be. God Bless the People of Faith. And the People of Faith said, Amen!

Don't forget to invite and bring a friend to Church each week. Reminder: The Joint Warren-Grace Adult Bible Study resumes/begins Tuesday September 7th at 7pm at Grace; and the Combined Warren-Grace Choir rehearsal begins Wednesday, September 1st from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. The Combined Choir will sing every First Sunday at both Churches. "Behold, I am doing a new thing. Do you not know it?"
